The Westville Learning Academy (Alternative Education Program) was recently awarded an Arts Grant through funding from the Oklahoma Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Funding enabled the Academy to offer a hands-on acrylic painting class for alternative education students to earn art credit with the help of a local artist.

Why a Senior Celebration? For decades (1970-2020), we (Alpha Delta Kappa) hosted a Senior Tea for girls and their moms. To be more inclusive, we’ve transformed it into a celebration for ALL Adair County high school seniors!

This week, we are excited to highlight Tracy Duncan, our Elementary Reading Specialist and RTI Director! 📖
Tracy is celebrating her 18th year with us, including her internship! 🎉 She has a deep passion for helping students grow, and nothing brings her more joy than watching reluctant readers transform into confident ones.
Tracy is also a proud mother of three wonderful children! Two of her kids still attend school here, and her oldest is a college graduate preparing to begin her journey as a teacher! 👩🏫
When asked what advice she would give her younger self, Tracy said, “Give yourself grace!” 💙
We are thrilled to have Tracy with us and truly appreciate the positive influence she brings to our students daily! Let’s express our admiration for her commitment and enthusiasm!
