
Adair County truancy court will be tomorrow Tuesday, May 19 @ 3:30 at the courthouse. Bring grades and attendance info and you must wear a mask when you come inside.

Reminder: Elementary parents please make plans to pick up students personal items in the Elementary Gym Tuesday, May 19th from 10:00-1:00.

Students you must turn in your athletic uniforms when you come to clean your lockers and turn in your textbooks, etc. Seniors you will not be able to do your final checkout until these have been returned.

A quick reminder for parents of JH and HS students. Please make plans for your child to come to the school between 8am and 3:30pm on their scheduled day next week. 7th and 10th grade students need to come on Monday the 18th. Eighth and 11th grade students need to come on Tuesday the 19th. Ninth grade students need to come on Wednesday the 20th. Twelfth grade can come on Wednesday the 20th and Thursday the 21st from 9am-3pm. Please bring textbooks, locks, library books, and parking decals to be turned in. If you are not able to come at these times, please contact the school to set up an arranged time to clean out lockers and check in materials. Thank you

Seniors need to do their final checkout on Wednesday, May 20th or Thursday, May 21st from 9 am to 3 pm. Please bring any textbooks, Library books and Parking decals to be turned in to the High School Office. If you have an unpaid lunch bill you will need to take care of that and see Linda Scott in the Admin Complex to indicate where to send your final transcript. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask, if possible, in the buildings.

Junior High and High School parents please make plans to come to the school on May 18th through May 20th to pick up your children’s personal items and clean out their lockers. In order to limit the number of people entering the building we ask that you come on the days organized below between 8am and 3:30pm. 7th and 10th grade need to come on Monday, May 18th. 8th and 11th grade need to come on Tuesday, May 19th. 9th and 12th grade need to come on Wednesday, May 20th. The only exception will be if you have children in multiple grades you can bring them at the same time.

Just a quick reminder. Distance learning at Westville Public School will end on Friday, May 8th. If your child is failing or trying to improve their grade their work must be submitted to the school by Monday, May the 11th at 1 pm. You can drop the paper packets off in the Central office in their grade level drop box or send their teacher a picture of their work through text or email. Thank you very much.

21st Century will be doing distance learning for Summer School. Enrollment forms will be available this week and next week through the lunch line.

Westville Schools will be serving grab and go meals from 10am - 1pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Good news for students in the 8th grade. Please let your 8th grade child know that they do not have to be worried about the 8th grade reading test. The state has waived the test and the requirement to pass the test to receive their driver’s licenses for this year due to Covid 19. We are proud of all the hard work they put into reading this year.

Cherokee Nation and the Adair Co. Health Department will be doing a FREE Covid testing drive thru in Westville, the parking lot by the community building from 9-12 this Thursday.
You DO NOT have to be Cherokee or even have symptoms.

Westville schools will be serving our grab and go meals on Tuesday, April 21 and again on Thursday, April 23.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be having food service on Monday, April 20th. We will have an update tomorrow on the rest of the week.

Parents of junior high or high school students if your child completes a paper packet please email or text a picture of the completed assignments to the teacher letting them know that the work is complete. If your child is failing a class or you cannot contact the teacher through email or text please drop your child’s packet off in the grade level box located in the foyer of the central office. The central office will be open from 9am-1pm Monday through Thursday. Thank You

Parents of freshmen, one of the few requirements that the State has not waived is the completion of Financial Literacy. If your child is currently enrolled in Mrs. Heustis’ Financial Literacy they must complete the paper packet or online program. When your child completes their packets you can drop them off in the 9th grade drop box in the foyer of the central office.
