Message from Mr. Heustis
Due to the unforeseen circumstances that have happened this week we will be canceling school on Thursday and Friday.
With the overwhelming number of staff wanting to attend Mr. Johnny Balmain's service and we are hosting the Volleyball Regional, we feel like it is in the best interest of students and staff to cancel school on Thursday. Coach Balmain has touched so many students and teachers lives with his dedicated work to Westville Public Schools. Most of us have so many great memories with Coach Balmain. He will be missed.
We also tragically lost Jeff Vaughn over the weekend. Jeff is a 1987 graduate of Westville High School and son of Donna Willis and husband of Brenda Vaughn. Jeff never met a stranger and had a polarizing personality. He was always up for a good laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest. We will be having Jeff's service on Friday at 1 pm in the school auditorium.
Please keep those families in your thoughts and prayers.
Our plan is to make up these days in January and February.
